This isn't the first time this has happened to me. Babylon 5 Season 4 - 'Endgame'. I loved Marcus Cole. I also loved Susan Ivanova. Marcus gave his life for her and Susan left B5 soon afterwards.

I cried like a baby when the station "died", much less Marcus. It didn't cut as deep as this though, because it felt like a logical progression of the story, not just a "let's kill a character to gut another and wrap this up".

If you believe the astrology crap, it's part of me because I'm a Piscean, which is a mutable sign, known for such behaviours.

Well, we Virgos are said to be critical and nit-picky, so this may explain a lot on how I pick up plot holes. Not like I could miss them, since the space Titanic could have flown through them.

Season four is said to be a go, but now I'm hearing word that RTD really was going for a "scorched earth" ending, because he wants to reboot the series. Takes a really brilliant writer to eff up his own series so much in three seasons he's ready to start over, eh?

There are... um... prevalent rumors we'll be seeing Jack before Torchwood will air again. How he acts there may affect whether or not I'd watch anything calling itself Torchwood. I can only handle so much of emo Jack searching for redemption. I thought we'd gotten past the worst of that, now we have this travesty.

I tuned in for Jack, found him to mostly be a bit of a jerk and not much of a leader, but put up with him anyway. I ended up liking the other characters even though I loathed Owen in s1 and still find Gwen to be an annoying git, but after killing off 3/5ths of them within 5 episodes, I don't think I'd ever allow myself to ever get attached.

Yes, people die young in Torchwood, but does it have to be one after another, while I watch? After a while, it loses effect, but RTD seems to think death = drama, instead of actually having to write something interesting where the characters have to deal with the awful things they've had to do.
