Changes afoot

Okay... I've gone and done it!

I've been mulling over this for a while now and I've decided to go ahead and take the plunge. One of the reasons why I signed up for an LJ was because of my stories. I know I could just stick 'em up in a freebie but I wanted a little place that's mine and as I'm utterly crap at html (apart from italics!;)) this was the best idea.

Not only that but £14.50 for a year wasn't going to break the bank now was it?! I spend that on books usually in one bookshop visit. Waterstones (UK version of Borders) just love me!;)

So... one of the first things that's likely to change is that I'm going to go on a icon hunt. My current one will NOT be going anywhere (it's THE kiss of the year, of course it's going nowhere!) so if you start seeing weird and wonderful stuff by my name... don't panic!

If anyone can point me in the direction of good Babylon 5/Stargate SG-1 (Hi Skater!)/Firefly/BSG v_2.0 icons, I'd be most grateful. Ditto Looney Tunes (Marvin Martian RULES!) and perhaps I can be 'persuaded' in regards to a certain AI (or three!;)) and a certain Niche.. oh however you damn well spell it! Rhade from Andromeda... I hear he looks rather dashing in a kilt too...

I think I'll keep the purple for the time being though... As a certain Centauri put it... "I am STUNNING in purple!"

In the grand scheme of things - today wasn't a bad day. Stuff got done and things were sorted out. Admittedly I was hoping to squee over the fact that I would be buggering off to Edinburgh for a couple of days next month to
a) visit a city that I've been meaning to go to since library school

b) attend the World Premiere of 'Serenity' (the film based on 'Firefly')

c) trap for myself a Camulus clone (evil b*stard parasite NOT included!;))

But alas b) fell through quite spectacularly and I'm not going, or at least not this side of the Festival... So I'm one rather honked off monster right now.

Anyway... to atone for this and in an effort to coax back my muse (last seen heading towards my male beta's or the last known position of the Andromeda Ascendant.... long story!;)) I present a story that's been sitting on my hard drive for a while that I quite like... a lot.

It's set around the Matrix Reloaded and its... *different*. For me anyway. It's HET, 18 rated and it involves Trinity and someone else...;)

Feedback would be nice... as would title suggestions!;)

First of all, the first two screenings sold out pretty damn quickly.
Over 40,000 people tried to secure tickets online.

This does make me feel slightly better!;) I think this movie is going to do well... don't you? Especially when a boardsib over at Empireonline mentioned that we also broke the local phone exchange too... So I apologise to the people of Edinburgh for that!;)

It went onto say that there will be extra screenings around the UK in August/September... Thank the Universe I live so close to London;)
