I will not be attending the Annual Doctor Who Premiere bash, taking place at an undisclosed location in London this year. I am working *shakes small fist of rage at the Universe for plotting to have Easter so damn early this year!*

Thus, I present - Five Three things that are made of AWESOME!

Thing One
'Sapphire and Steel' - A Beginners Guide (IMAGE HEAVY)

If you've ever watched either Small Worlds or From Out Of The Rain (both Torchwood) and wondered if the writer of those two superb stories had written anything else... Look no further.

If you're a fan of the wierd, the strange, the creepy and the downright beautiful - then click away.

If you're looking for a new fandom playground, one with possibilities for het and slash and threesomes; where the leads are headturningly beautiful, the main characters have no concept of personal space. Step right this way.

For the NCIS fen on my flist - Ducky in his younger even hotter than now! days. For those of you old enough to remember the series (and were scared half to death by it, it's okay to admit it) - a trip down memory lane. You know it makes sense!

Thing Two
Faded Photographs written by hearts_blood (NCIS/Man From UNCLE Ducky, Kate, Gen, PG.)

Possibly the best 'Ducky IS Illya Kuryakin' story I've ever come across.
Takes a certain comment made by Gibbs in 'Meat Puzzle' as it's starting point (no prizes for guessing which one!;)) and weaves both canons together subtly and brilliantly.

I don't know if there will be more - she seems to be following DMcC from fandom to fandom like... well, 90% of most fangirls, but if she does - it will be worth it!

Thing Three
Indiana Jones and the Taters of the Lost Ark

This makes me squee like no one's business. And yes, I do want one!

Irony of ironies, I was just coming over to your journal to point out 'Faded Photographs' I am proud to say that I sucked her into MFU, and into shipping NS/IK (and there's that one line about Ducky sleeping with Abby- that's my fault too)

Check out some of her other fic- she is brilliant, and just started on S&S. I started reading her Seven/Ace fics, and then it turned out that she was a friend of a friend, and it all just snowballs, doesn't it? My recent run of DMc as the Eleventh Doctor is her fault.

That 'introduction guide' to S&S is made of win. My entire f-list has erupted in S&S love- it's brilliant!

I *love* Sapphire and Steel. Saw it for the first time about 2 years ago when a friend sent some shiny discs my way and I was freaked out. *giggle* Only seen it once because of that. That introduction makes me want to watch it again. And screenshot and make icons like crazy...

Shame I just bought Hotel Babylon season 2 on DVD:D

So much so that I has a NCIS/Man from UNCLE crossover bunny brewing.

Ziva and Ducky are kidnapped. Ziva, being Mossad, has pissed off a LOT of people in her time. She thinks that it's because of her. She is wrong.
Their captors are actually afer Ducky...

I already have a scene (in my head) where Jenny is reading the riot act to both the Head of UNCLE North America (no prizes for guessing who that is!) and one of Mossad's Deputy Directors too (again... no prizes!). Something along the lines of as both are currently on the NCIS payroll, they will be the ones to lead the S&R!

Um... stop me please.
