Official confirmation should come in the next 24 hours. How this will effect certain shows is unknown at present. One thing is certain, the Oscars shouldn't be affected. As for everything else TV Guide's Michael Ausellio has some possible intel as to what happens next.

So, I've been watching The West Wing Season one and I have one question to ask...
Who else is going to turn up as a guest star in said show?
So far I have spotted the following:
Cuddy (from House - she was Sam's 'call girl' girlfriend)
Will Adama (from Battlestar Galactica) - was I the only person to be vastly amused to hear that his character's wife's name is 'Laura'. Juuuust me then!
Sara (from CSI - Vegas) as a Secret Service agent (Somebody tell me there is fic where she and Kate Todd meet?)
Also I have spotted 'Q' from Star Trek: TNG and no doubt sundry others I can't think of right now. Should I be expecting anyone else? Apart from Gibbs - I *know* he turns up in S3 and it's going to take me a while to get there y'know;)
