Giving this icon one last outing before I retire it. For those of you who have been living on Mars for the last couple of days... The WGA strike is now over and new episodes of shows will start appearing sometime between March/April.

News as of 7.55pm GMT -
Ausellio @ TV Guide is reporting that NCIS is 'expected' to have SEVEN episodes, starting as of 8th April.
Other shows are featured in the list - but I know that many of the flist will be interested in that bit of good news - meaning that (if all are filmed and shown) S5 will have 18 episodes. Which is not too shabby.

[livejournal.com profile] ishtaritu and [livejournal.com profile] periwinkle27 - I've sent a link to the actual press release around the editors for tonight. Hope it gets to you!

Has anyone heard of a film called And Never Let Her Go? Starred both Mark Harmon and David Hewlett? Must have been filmed mid-late '90's? Both the fashions and MH's hair colour bear this out (he was still very dark haired - not quite on the road to sexy silver-foxdom yet!;)) I ask as I saw this playing in the changing room at my gym. Which screwed me up big time as I was supposed to be going for a swim!

I know that I could look this up on IMDB but that won't tell me the info I need to know.
Such as - does Mark Harmon get his kit off? Or does he have any more nice scenes in a library wearing a suit? Little pleases a monster;)

Double Torchwood tonight! Though for those of you who'll be catching both episodes - spare a thought for those of us who won't be seeing both episodes. I have both a 12 hour shift tomorrow and a 9am appointment, so only one for me. I know I don't have to remind many of you but... Spoiler warnings are your friends. Mainly because being slapped around the head does tend to offend... Unless you're Tony DiNozzo then it's your boyfriend's way of saying 'I love you'

One thing to look forward to tomorrow. The first trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is released! \o/!! I may be single, I may be bitter, but I'd rather have that than overpriced food and ratty roses!

Though, I won't say no to Dr Jones himself... I'm just saying!

Two final things -

I am a grade A idiot - I didn't realise that Jim from Neighbours was Director Morrow on NCIS for TWO YEARS!!! And he's in Torchwood next week/tonight... (long story!)

Half a second (maybe less) by [livejournal.com profile] ishtaritu is a scorching hot OT3 AU for 'Twilight' in NCIS. NC-17 and well worth a read . So... shoo!

I have "And never let her go" on DVD. It's absolutely brilliant.

Want me to try and copy it for you?

I adore And Never Let Her Go. It premiered in 2001 and marked Paul Michael Glaser's return to acting (after more than 2 decades as a director). He was just smashing :D And now, since I wasn't "aware" of David Hewlett at the time, I watch for both Paul AND David. YAY! The film is based on a real case that many of us lived through in the media and the movie does a very good adaptation of the case.

You should only be so lucky. ;)

Harmon and Hewlett play brothers in "...And Never Let Her Go." It's actually a mini-series that aired over two nights originally, and is based on a true crime. Ann Rule (true crime writer) wrote about it, giving the story a wider exposure.

I'm pretty sure I watched it when it first aired, but Hewlett wasn't on my radar at the time, though knowing what I do now about him, he's long been able to give good woobie face. *g* Harmon plays a character that's... well, a bad guy, but on the surface he appears to be perfect.
