DAY SEVEN - YOUR FAVOURITE PIECE OF MUSIC

Given that this is my journal - my rules apply. And one of those rules is that I break the rules when I feel I need to. And I need to right now. So I am going to pick a couple of peices. for starters...

From Seasons 1 & 2 - THE LONE DALEK

I say 'seasons 1 & 2' as it was first heard in the episode 'Dalek' but reached full 'voice' (if you will) in 'Doomsday'. It's one of the most beautiful and emotional peices that I think Murray Gold has written for the series. I personally adore it.

There are many reasons why living so close to London has it's advantages. One of which is the wide and varied cultural experiences on offer. Of this wide selection is the BBC Proms.

In 2008, the Proms opened their doors to the Doctor and his TARDIS. Okay, Ten was in Stratford Upon Avon being a Dane (and being damn good at it!) but it was still hewn from awesome

Here! Have my tl;dr review of the 2008 extravaganza!

Well, they're doing it again! Two concerts this time - Saturday 24th July 7pm and Sunday 25th July 2010, 11am.

[livejournal.com profile] torn_eledhwen - you interested? or is that a reaally stupid question?

NOTICE - The management of this lj take no responsibility if you rupture something laughing at this vid.

Tuesday was the 18th anniversary of Freddie Mercury's death (boy, do I feel *old*) but his legacy will never be forgotten. Not when it's riffed on in such a amazing way!
