Things that rock mightily

First up - a belated happy birthday to both amanda_is_wacky and celandineb

- I iz not dead (duh!;))

- S3 Doctor Who starts on 31/3

- S4 NCIS starts on 13/4 (on UK telly)

- Picking up a skirt that I had my eye on at both £25 off and a size smaller than I was used to. Did I mention that it can work from spring to summer and possibly autumn too? And it's purple *manic grin*

- I don't care what anyone else says - 'Rose' ('Doctor Who') is a damn fine first episode.

- Am concocting meta about Director Sheppard (NCIS) but I feel I need to watch the relevant episodes from S4 before I open my trap. Not only that but by the time that I do get to see the episodes... the series would have ended in the U.S. Um...

- The bunnies are multiplying like... well, bunnies;) Out of nowhere I got an idea for a NCIS casefic where the vic had been at a tango night where Ducky and Abby had been also... (Ducky knowing how to tango from his time in Argentina - as mentioned in 'Meltdown' and Abby being a fan of Dancing with the Stars and having asked Ducky to teach her how to dance...). Yes, my brain is a very weird place!

- I have signed up to rec NCIS at crack_van. At least I have six months to gather up recs/change my mind;)

Thing that doesn't
- I have a story that needs to be finished and beta'ed by next Sunday. The muse just does not want to know. ARGH!

Yes, well, sometimes one has to point out the bleedin' obvious! I might have a bit of a crush on two autopsy sweeties but... y'know!;)

How is the Ducky bunny? And could you read through (just to make sure the damn thing scans!) a TW/DW fic in the next couple of days? It's the Sunday deadline fic. Again I say 'ARGH!'

Well I could send the Autopsy Gremlin and his boss over to perform a full autopsy on you if you like... *snickers* I dunno if Jimmy and Duck would survive the insanity though!

The Ducky bunny... well she's doing alright, still sneezing. Dougie attacked her yesterday (sad to hear a squeal coming from the little one) although it could also be interpreted as 'hard play' and the big bunny just didn't know her own strength. The girls have their own journal rabid_girls.

Send it over! I love TW/DW fic! (which reminds me, I still have one major DW/TW fic to finish and another one to write...)

'Rose' ('Doctor Who') is a damn fine first episode.

Considering it was the ep that got me hooked on Doctor, yes, it is a good first ep.

The show had me at "I'm the Doctor. Run for your life!" (or something like that).

That's pretty much the quote. I heard that on the radio (as, what with being British, the 'revival' of Who was a HUUUUUGGGEE thing!) while driving home one night, before the show started and just thought... 'Yup, they've grokked it!'

Though for me, it was the first trailer. The 'Do you want to come with me?' one with Eccleston. Up to that point, I was seriously ambivalent about the show. I loved it as a kid and... well. Needless to say that in about five seconds flat I was S.O.L.D! All 'oooh, yes please! Where are we going?!'. I think it took up to 'End of the World' to hopelessly crush on the guy... um;)

I think Tennant is wonderful but... Eccleston is da man!
