Thoughts about Valentines Day

beckymonsterI've kept very quiet in the last couple of days on the run up today. Mainly because of all the days in the year - this is the one that makes me go all 'bah bloody humbug!'.
Cannot stand V-Day for many reasons. I won't explain why, mainly because it will turn into a pity post and I'm not playing that game. So instead, I will do the following...
Tell my flist that they are all wonderful entities and I adore having them in my life
And I mean that - you educate me, you remind me why I do what I do, you can be as wise as Yoda or as shallow as a puddle. You tell me about the good stuff and put up with my idiocies.
And yes, I do love you for it
Mention that, despite recent grumblings on the subject, shows like Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica and NCIS are still rocking my 'verse
Even if there was a Mr Monster, he'd have to realise that Saturday Nights are sacrosanct when DW starts and he's just going to have to understand about Messers Harmon, Tennant, Barrowman, McCallum and Weatherly! Because I flatly refuse to apologise.
So on the whole - thank you guys for being you. I am a grateful monster.
