She is neither wanted or needed. I loved Rose (especially with #9, #10 not so much - the whole 'one troo wuv' thing got a leetle bit cloying for me!) and now I love Martha and I'm hoping that I'm going to have the same reaction to Donna (eventually)

I'm hoping that RTD knows what he is doing... Else there will be hell to pay!

More importantly is 'how'?

How are they going to bring her back??? They've gone to extraordinary,lengths - OTT lengths I venture to suggest - to make it clear that she could never come back, that the Doctor could never see her again, that the other world is totally and utterly and absolutely impossible to get to. So . . . HOW???

I'm hoping that RTD knows what he is doing.

Hmmm, given that he's bringing in Catherine Tate for companion outside the one off I do wonder :-(

We got our S2 DVDs a while back and re-watching the Christmas Special just increased my serious reservations and feelings of 'oh, no not her'. *Sigh* I hope to be proven wrong, but I am *not* looking forward to the beginning of the new Season.

I didn't spoiler cut (originally) because both OG and BBC are running this story without spoiler protection. So as far as I'm concerned it's public domain. Not to mention with the meowboom that this is going to cause... someone is going to let slip.

Then again... my rule of thumb with DW is - if it's on the BBC news site, it's not a spoiler... but it's horses for courses;)

Thank you! I know it's going to be hard to keep quiet but I've seen more than one post begging people to cut and not everyone will see the BBC. I only know about it from LJ. I kind of wish I didn't know but, eh, not too broken up over it, I guess.

Supernatural is the only show I'm really spoilerphobic about these days.

I'm a tad concerned - it's a bit gimmicky, and I think lessens the impact of "Doomsday" ... so long as Rose is depicted as a happy and fulfilled woman, and not pining for the Doctor, there's scope for interesting character stuff. But I'm not jumping up and down in joy on this one.
