I admit it, I am dreading Sunday.

Last year, Sister Unit #2 didn't even phone or send a card for the day. I wasn't expecting any more - hell if SU#3 (at university) can remember, why can't she... and she lives 150 miles closer!

That and I dislike having to be the centre of attention and making sure that everyone else is having a good time. I know that sounds selfish but when the choice as to where you go for your celebratory meal is already decided for you - without your input; mainly because where you want to go is immediately vetoed. I think I have the right to be a bit grouchy.

Nevertheless - I'm gonna try and have a good time regardless. Even if that means just going for a meal and then declining to go to the cinema/bowling afterwards.
It's my birthday, I'll do what the hell I want! :P

There... that's better!;) This does mean that the muse has decided to b*gger off for a vacation for the time being. He shall return. He always does;) I wouldn't mind but I had a fic that I wanted to at least finish the first draft (to post) here as a mathom for Sunday. Oh well, I have nearly 72 hours to track the bastard down!;)

It's not as bad as it could be. He has left me with ideas for making new jewellery - specifically two brooches and a new pair of earrings. I'll keep y'all informed.

In other news... BSG returns to Skiffy in OCTOBER?!
Now, I cannot profess to know the minds of the execs who came up with this decision. What I can hypothesise is that (if I've spelt it right!;)) is that Sky usually start showing their new series about then.
Sky pay part of BSG's production costs. Could it be that we're going to get (gosh, shock HORROR!) to see BSG within a week/same week as the Americans?

It would be nice;) One tiny problem. I *pray* that if this is so, it does not clash with Torchwood. That would be too damn ebil for words!

The TARDIS lands on the 'Television WithOut Pity' boards which either could be a thing of great wonder or a total bloodbath. TWoP are not known for suffering fools gladly. Obviously, this is going to be 'interesting' as they'll be working with the American airing (starting on St Patrick's day) rather than the UK airing.

Personally I am curious as to what our American cousins think of this little show. It's almost a shame that we have to wait so damn long for Captain Jack to turn up (hee hee!)

For a taster of what they are like, I refer you to this re-cap of Farscape's 'A Human Reaction' which in my mind is one of the best Farscape episodes EVER!

Not only that but anyone who can create something like this has to have the sort of sense of humour to appreciate Doctor Who. (it does help if you've watched the new series of Battlestar;))
Or then again... perhaps not!;)

Rather belatedly, Draupne and Frogmella and I are organising a mini get-together on Sunday - Draupne's in London with a friend for the weekend. Guess that means you wouldn't be around to join us? The Proposition is proposed, followed by curry in Earl's Court.

I am afraid not. I have to do the family thing *sigh*. It would have been far more fun than going out with my family and no mistake!

Give River Woman a holler - she's at home and might be able to make it - but on short notice...

Give everyone my regards all the same!;)
