I present a list of things that rocketh mightily and perhaps one or two things that aren't.
Things that are coolX-Files Season 1 (one disc left - must resist temptation to buy S2 straight away)
Farscape S3 - 'Infinite Possiblities - Icarus Abides' just broke me (waiting for play.com to send the final Starburst set for S3)
Getting three disparate DVDs in the post from my 'Netflix' clone - Andromeda S2 Disc 9 (it has Chris Judge's first episode on it;)), 'Sky High' (Disney does live action superheroes) and 'Untold Scandal' (A Korean version of 'Les Liasons Dangereux')
As of the day after tomorrow, I'm off for four days, then two days back at work then off for another four days.
Getting the inspiration that has allowed me to carry on with a story I was writing a while ago. Spose it's one good reason for putting up with a muse with ADHD. If he won't work on one story - there are about nine on the backburner for him to work on!
The way that Freddie Mercury's voice sounds when he sings 'Somebody to Love'. It might be older than me but damn it's a beautiful song. Almost gospel-like in it's beauty.
Paint Shop Pro looks almost idiot proof (I still have to test this out)
The new Alphagate archive (which is!;))
The overabundance of movies I want to see ('Tstoti', 'Romance and Cigarettes', 'Inside Man', 'The Three Burials of Miguel Esterada', 'Ice Age 2', 'Take the Lead' - eclecetism thy name is Beckymonster!;))
Someone else thinks that Ronon from SG: Atlantis looks like Tyr from Andromeda (take a bow
mice1900)
Did I mention that Doctor Who re-starts on Saturday?! Alright then - that the information given in this weeks Radio Times points to the fact that this could be as good a season, if not better than last years.
Boots Chocolate fudge brownies
Work being quiet. Even though I work in a library, it's nice when it is *quiet*. It doesn't happen that often.
Things that don'tHaving my eyesight frelled around with by trying out new contact lenses. The ouchies are bad enough, but having my sight depth (how far ahead I can see) cut in half is no laughing matter.
Being told by a
student to keep my voice down while on the enquiry desk.
Standing around nearly helpless while a student was prone on my office floor. The student was taken off to hospital eventually but it could have been a lot worse. Big needles and all sorts!
